Today I felt like doing a watercolour sketch. No reference. No plan. Just a blank sheet and a paint brush. ?️?

What came out was an impressionistic kind of lavender. My version of lavender I guess. Not too true to life but we don’t always need that. ?

Going to have a cosy evening in the atmosphere of this image now. Lavender scent is already burning. ?️

Neither farmer nor gardener would be a fan, but this creeping butter cup had another plan.

The frost sparkling in the sun, her journey into the spotlight had begun.

It stood out to me on my walk one frosty morning. So this was just a little experiment painting a frosted weed. Sometimes beauty lies in hidden corners.

Do you ever notice something ordinary become extraordinary just because of the light or situation, and you cannot help but stop to take another look?

Despite the current Covid situation we can still have fun at home, don’t let anyone stop you, turn up the music and show off your best moves!

Yesterday I was busy experimenting with some homemade cosmetic recipes. And jarring some of my raw honey of course.

I love the process of making something from scratch and knowing what goes into it. Even better when you have some of your own ingredients! So thankful to my busy bees for all the wonderful honey and wax! ??
