Where are the Trees? is an adventure story with an environmental theme.
Pip and Peter are two turkeys who have never seen a tree!
After hearing about trees from their grandpa, they want to find one and see it for themselves. They set out on a journey full of adventure.
But will they find a tree? And who will they meet along the way?

This is Pierre. Pierre is a very snobbish cat.
It has been raining a lot and many puddles have formed in the middle of the fields.
Today while walking the dogs I spotted this lost duck. He was by himself and had a confused expression on his face. I don’t think he knew where he was or how he got there.
This is my view every evening when gathering buckets of water.
The colours in the sky never cease to amaze me. They are beautiful, the gradients far surpass our manmade efforts.
Waiting for the bucket to fill, I’d often let it overflow distracted by the view.
Sometimes it is in the simplest things in life that you can find the most pleasure.
This was a commission for my friend Kirsty, her mum’s dog Pebbles passed away and this was a present for her to keep as a memory.
This is a sunflower that my father made for his friend’s birthday as a special gesture. Sunflowers are her favourite. ?
He is not on online but I’m sure he would love to know what you all think so I’m sharing this on his behalf.
He has always been a huge inspiration to me both in life and art so it’s nice to have the opportunity to share one of his creations.
Something to brighten up the day. ?
Happy new year to you all.
It can be so easy to get stuck in expectations. See nothing but result. See things only within their economic or productive value.
I often fall into this trap.
Yet, what is art without the process, the playfulness, the creativity and journey?
It’s good to remind myself of this from time to time. It’s not worth losing what you love to result or expectation. And with only result, there is no possibility for happy accidents.
Keep creating. ♥️
This is a recent commission for a herbal medicine office.
The herbs are lavender and dill.
Sometimes you can feel vulnerable and small.
Perhaps, even like nothing at all…
Yet, time will change, and time will heal,
Creating that context for all you feel.
Growing in strength, releasing from mind.
There is always peace and happiness to find.
Just a little showcase of my pet portraits.
